About Bryan J Zimmerman:
Bryan J Zimmerman hails from Center Valley, Pennsylvania with his wife of 18 years and three children, Julian Vai, Wendy Lynn, and Jami Lynn. His passion for photography began in the early eighties when he worked for an advertising agency in Wilkes-Barre, PA, and helped in the darkroom with photography for all types of media.
The thought of being able to tell a story using photographs was exciting, and led Bryan to where he is today. As a freelance graphic designer, poet, and professional musician, photography has become an integral part of his workflow.
Bryan is a member and newsletter editor for the Lehigh Valley Photography Club, and has recently landed a publishing deal with Booksurge, a subsidiary of Amazon.com to publish a book of his poetry and photography. He has also enjoyed local fame with his picture entitled "Choices," which was published in Lehigh Valley Style Magazine as the seventh runner up in a local photography contest that brought in over 700 photographs.
Architecture, cemeteries, and distressed structures are Bryan's favorite subjects to take pictures of, and it is no secret that he is heavily influenced by Ansel Adams; just take a look through his "Zero Saturation" gallery.
